Sturbridge Senior Photographer in the Berkshires
When I start working on a senior session with a young man or young woman, I always start by asking about their preference, and what they would like to see during their sessions. I have a few of my “go to” suggestions. For example fs they mention the beach, I absolutely love Scusset beach because the sunset is just perfect and I get a nice variety of backgrounds.
This time Lilly mentioned a favorite location of her own, she talked about a waterfall, and I was just taken back by the beauty of this location. It was absolutely perfect. She planned her outfits perfectly, and we managed to bring to live what she had envisioned. I really encourage my clients to communicate clearly with me, and I will give my input, they usually have to do with time of day and sunlight, because all want is great light. When she first mentioned a waterfall I was worried that it would buried deep in the woods, but the waterfall was nice and open, and the light reflected beautifully on the water. I am not a fan of photos deep in the forest because the light reflecting on the leaves of tree will make my client’s skin look green, skin tones are such a big deal, and I always search for perfect light to give my client a beautiful soft skin tone.
Lilly’s porcelain skin looked absolutely perfect here.
I had such a beautiful time with Lilly, and loved every minute of this session.
