Lea Jone a Massachusetts wedding photographer - A Summer Wedding in an Old Mill in New England

It’s been such a joy to get to know Elisabeth and photograph her. I loved doing her senior photos in Sturbridge, MA , her engagement photos on the pier in Boston Massachusetts ( which I have yet to blog!) and then her wedding in Holyoke MA. Elisabeth and Brendon were such a delight to spend the day with.

The industrial vibe of this old mill located in Holyoke Massachusetts was perfect for a modern and chic wedding flawlessly put together by her mother and amazing florist Becky Shea . The brick walls, wooden floors, and large windows create a romantic and intimate atmosphere that is sure to make guests feel right at home. The natural lighting that floods the space during the day made for stunning wedding photos.

For a summer wedding in Massachusetts New England, the old factory's large windows and open space provided a great opportunity to incorporate the beauty of nature into the decor. Lush greenery and colorful blooms can were used to soften the industrial vibe of the space and add a touch of elegance.

We also loved taking a little bit of time to do some photos outdoor photos in front of an old crumbling wall. It was more than 100 degrees on that June day, so most photos were indoors with AC ;) thank God for lots of indoor space for beautiful photos in Mill 1 at Open Square !
