A Boston Family Photographer - Senior session on the beach in Massachusetts

Beginning of September I met up with this beautiful girl on a beach in Massachusetts. After our phone consultation, we tried to carefully select a beach that would have enough variety (was banking on the beach/the boardwalk and the grass) and not too much wind!
The bathroom building looked really old and grotty but I gave it a go and I love the photos taken in front of that old garage door and pink-is wall.

When I got there, the location looked so dull and gloomy, maybe it was just that late summer feeling on a rainy day on the beach, but I got nervous about the choice of location, then Avery got here and she had such a fun happy spirit, the shoot was amazing! We got so much variety, as her mom sais: “it feels like 6 shoots in one”, we got so many beautiful photos and I loved that she let me try all my silly creative ideas. Some were amazing, some I had to scrap but it’s always worth the try.

I always strive to get my client’s true personality shine through. I often get quiet clients too (one of my children is the quiet type) and I also want their “richness” to shine through portraits. I find it so satisfying to truly engage with my clients get their “vibe”.
