A Christmas Present

This little chap made his family wait until Christmas Day (way past his due date) to make his grand entrance in the world. But what a glorious present! ♥ Look at that ginger hair and rosy cheeks. So delicious.

We ended up having to reschedule a couple of times before being to take his newborn photos, but this is not an issue at all for me, I am happy to do newborn photos for the first three weeks or even later, but I can’t really them newborn after that! I love simple images without props and strange poses.
I love babies to be natural, because aren’t they just beautiful as they are? Just lay them down on your favorite soft blanket or keep them in your arms where they are warm and comfortable.

It was a very cold day in Massachusetts ( one of the coldest I have known to be exact, our heating pipes froze that very night!), but mom styled everyone just perfect, wearing warm, neutral sweaters which made this session so soft and tender.
